Introduction​

Alright, folks. Today we're diving into the MACD Signal Indicator trading robot. If you’re looking for a magical solution to all your trading woes, keep dreaming. We’re going to explore installation, setup, my experiences, some tips, and a little about the mysterious source code. Spoiler: We don’t have it.

Installation and Setup​

First things first. Installing and setting up this fancy piece of code:

  • Download the Indicator: Head over to this link and grab your copy.
  • Install in MetaTrader 5: Open MT5, go to ‘File’ > ‘Open Data Folder’ > ‘MQL5’ > ‘Indicators’ and paste your downloaded file there.
  • Restart MT5: Seems obvious, but some people forget. Restart your program.
  • Attach to Chart: Open your desired chart, go to ‘Insert’ > ‘Indicators’ > ‘Custom’ and select ‘MACD Signal Indicator’.
