Introduction

Ahoy, fellow traders! Today, let's take a dive into the world of the trading robot Pirate and see if this buccaneer of the trading seas can really deliver the treasure it promises.

Description of Functions

The website of our fine friend Pirate doesn't hold too many details. In essence, it's a trading software that's been programmed to execute trades based on predefined settings. It has solid SL and TP mechanics, as good ol' user jin77 mentioned in his review. This piece of tech is meant to lead you to the land of profits while you can sit back and quaff your grog. Well, in theory at least...

Analysis of Results

Aye, this is the point where the winds start to turn. Analyzing the performance of Pirate over the last year, you can almost hear the waves of the trading sea laughing. It seems to be a mixed bag, with users like tyy96913 claiming it to be a genuine doubloon-maker, while the less-thrilled andrewwijaya deems it not a worthy mate for your hard-earned pieces of eight.

The overall user rating for Pirate stands at a mediocre 3.9. Indeed, quite far from being the Black Beard of the trading world but not exactly the worst scallywag out there either.

Pros and Cons

The key takeaway from the user comments is that the Pirate EA shows a decent performance and potential, with steady SL and TP mechanisms in place. The developer seems to be supportive, always ready to hoist the sails when the times are rough.

However, the complaints about the lack of good support are quite concerning. Paired with poor backtesting results, the ship of confidence starts to take in water.

Source Code of Pirate

The original source code is not Open Source, shrouded in more mystery than the Flying Dutchman. However, based on the description from the MQL5 store, we could draft a rough skeleton of what the code might look like. So, if you have questions or require a bit of coding help, head over to our forum at easytradingforum.com.

Please note, this is but an example made by EASY Trading Team, and does not represent the original Pirate robot sold on MQL5.

To wrap up, the Pirate trading robot, despite its adventurous name, seems to not be the most thrilling expedition in the trading sea. The floating reviews, along with a mediocre rating, put it in the realm of the average.

But then again, who knows? With a bit of luck, you might just strike gold. Feel free to discuss this robot on our forum and share your results. Fair winds and following seas, traders!
