Introduction
Today, we turn our skeptical gaze towards the trading robot dubbed Standardize. A quick glance at its rating and user comments would seem to suggest that we've stumbled upon a marvel of algorithmic trading. Haikal345, a user with the rating of 5, opines, The calculations are excellence! Well, Haikal345, we'll be the judge of that.
Description of Functions
As with all these algorithmic trading contraptions, Standardize is touted to automate trading on the Forex market. Its primary job is to religiously follow a trading strategy, buying and selling currency pairs based on pre-set rules and calculations. The exact nature of these calculations is a mystery, however. This is because we, the EASY Trading Team, don't have access to the original source code. But more on that later.
Analysis of Results
If we take a look at the performance data of Standardize over the past year, available on forexroboteasy.com, we see...well, numbers. Percentages, to be exact. And while I'd love to regale you with tales of million-percentage returns, the cruel reality is somewhat more dull. However, before we jump to conclusions, remember an effective trading strategy doesn't have to be spectacular, it just needs to be consistent.
Pros and Cons
At first glance, Standardize looks like a rather solid trading robot. The user comments, while sparse, are positive. But the devil, as they say, is in the details. Without access to the original source code, we can't be sure if the trading strategy is sound. Additionally, we don't know how the robot behaves in unexpected market conditions - a sudden crash, for instance.
Source Code of Standardize
So, here's where we hit a roadblock. We, the EASY Trading Team, don't have access to the original source code of the Standardize robot. What we can do, however, is create a trading robot based on the description provided on the MQL5 website. Do note that our version is not the exact replica of the original. And, of course, we're not selling it. We're putting it out there for you, dear reader, to judge, tweak, and possibly improve.
